BLACK COMEDY: New Bassist Announced
January 22, 2009Norwegian modern metallers BLACK COMEDY have announced the addition of bassist Marius Haraldsen to the group's ranks. According to the band, "[Marius] is a very musical and talented guy who is sure to bring some exciting elements to BLACK COMEDY's music. He is also one of the singers in SERENITY TRACE."
BLACK COMEDY's next appearance is scheduled for the Inferno festival kick-off party on February 7 at John Dee in Oslo, Norway.
The track "Prime Specimen" from BLACK COMEDY is available for download at this location. The song comes off the group's debut album, "Instigator", which was released in February 2008 through Season of Mist.
"Instigator" was recorded at Strand Studio in Oslo Norway during 2007. The album was produced by Marius Strand and co-produced by Bjorn M. Borg. Described as a display of massive guitar riffing, powerful drums, synthetic leads and ear-shattering epic vocals, "Instigator" contains 12 tracks, with the initial pressing coming in a limited-edition deluxe metal box.
